1. Registration
By registering for the event, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Registration is binding and must be done in writing using the registration function on the website, including all required information. The organizer will confirm the registration no later than after the registration deadline, unless confirmation is explicitly excluded. The contract is formed upon receipt of the confirmation or, in the case of exclusion, upon registration. If registration is not possible, the organizer will notify the registrant.
Registrations submitted after the deadline might be accepted if there are open spots. Please direct such requests to event@onoffice.com.
2. Personalization and Transferability of Registration or Ticket
The registration is generally personalized for the individual who completed the registration or is named in the registration. However, the participant may transfer their ticket under the following conditions:
The transfer of a ticket for non-commercial reasons, especially in individual cases such as illness or other unavoidable circumstances, is permitted. In this case, the participant may transfer their rights and obligations to a third party only by having that person assume all rights and obligations under the contract.
The original participant must provide onOffice with the following details at least one (1) day before the event by emailing event@onoffice.com:
- The first and last name of the new ticket holder
- The event name, and for in-person events, the location and date the ticket refers to.
3. Payment Terms
Participation in the event is subject to a fee. The participation fee is due upon registration and must be transferred within 14 days after receiving the invoice. The invoice will be sent via email to the provided billing address. Payment can be made by bank transfer or direct debit to the account specified in the invoice. All bank charges must be covered by the participant. Participation is only secured after full payment of the participation fee.
In case of payment default, the organizer reserves the right to cancel the registration and exclude the participant from the event. In such cases, there is no entitlement to a refund of any payments already made.
4. Withdrawal
If the participant cancels their registration in writing, the following conditions apply:
- Up to 14 calendar days before the event: Full refund of the participation fee
- Between 13 and 1 calendar days before the event: 50% refund of the participation fee
- On the event day or in case of no-show without prior cancellation: Full participation fee is payable.
5. Event Cancellation
The organizer reserves the right to cancel the event, particularly in cases of insufficient registrations. No claims for damages can be made. This applies even in the case of short-notice cancellations or event failures, even if prior notification of participants is not possible. The right to terminate the contract for important reasons remains unaffected.
6. Change of Speakers
If the overall nature of the event is not significantly altered, changes in speakers or shifts in the event schedule do not entitle participants to withdraw from the contract. The right to terminate for important reasons remains unaffected.
7. Exclusion from Participation
The organizer reserves the right to exclude participants from further participation in the event in special cases (e.g., disruption of the event or business operations).
8. Liability
The organizer is not liable for any damages incurred by the participant for any legal reason – including delay, impossibility, non-fulfillment, or extra-contractual (tortious) liability – unless the damage was caused by gross negligence or intent by the organizer.
9. Data Protection and Storage
During the registration process for the event, certain mandatory information must be provided. This includes:
- First and last name
- Address
- Phone number
- Email address
The participant agrees that a list of participants, including their name, first name, and company, may be shared with the event’s speakers and other participants. This occurs within the legal framework of the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
10. Photo Notice
Photos and videos will be taken during the event for documentation and post-event reporting. By registering, participants agree that images or footage of them taken during the event may be used for these purposes without any claim for compensation.
